Synopsis
Double Nickels features Smokey, a fun-loving highway patrolman, and his partner Ed.
One day Smokey stops a man named George Daniels who is in the repossession business. Smokey decides not to give him a ticket and George offers him a part-time job as a repo man.
Smokey talks to his partner Ed, who doesn't like the idea. Ed worries it's practically stealing cars and could cost them their jobs.
But Smokey convinces Ed to agree, as long as they only repossess fast cars that would be harder for the police to catch.
While repossessing cars and running into trouble with the cops, they soon realize they've gotten involved in a grand theft auto ring.
